My Story
After pastoring for 7 years and working on the mission field for 5 years, I found myself in a mental and spiritual crisis confounded by a crippling addiction.
But by God’s Grace, through wise counselors and taking healthy steps, I found healing. My calling now is to walk together with those who seek freedom, faith, and hope that can be found in Jesus and his blue print for abundant life.

My name is Scott Russell. I have a Master’s of Divinity from SWBTS and over 15 years of ministry and counseling experience. But my greatest credential is failure, understanding the depth of my own brokenness and finally receiving a greater hope through healing by the grace of God.

My passion is to help others remove the obstacles that keep them from living the abundant life. My specialties include addiction and recovery, doubts in faith, relational conflicts and helping you find your purpose. I approach these and all issues from a biblical perspective, using attachment and cognitive behavioral therapies.

Do I have to be a Christian to receive your counseling services?
Absolutely not. But you must understand that I will approach our session from a Christ centered and biblical worldview, while always maintaining respect for you.
What are your fees?
The standard fee for a 50 minute session is $80. We also offer sliding scale fees based on income if needed.
